How an app gets listed
Five steps, in this order, for every app. Nothing skips the queue.
You submit the app
Send a demo link and a test login. Share read-only access to your code as well if you want the Code-reviewed label.
We run the eight checks
An automated review works through the app and writes a score report, check by check.
The score decides
80 or more out of 100, no check under 60%, and no critical security issue.
A person signs it off
Emile reviews every app that passes and approves it or sends it back with notes. Apps Emile made are signed off by another admin.
It goes on sale
The listing shows its label and its report. Code access is removed once the review is done.
The eight checks
The points show what matters most to a business that relies on the app every day. Working as promised counts for more than a fifth of the score on its own.
- Code-reviewed
- We tested the running app and read its code.
- Demo-tested
- We tested the running app. The developer did not share the code.

Keep more of every sale
We take 10% plus the card fee. Membership is $49 a year, or $15 every 3 months, and includes one listing and its review. Each extra app is $19 to review.
If you care about quality, this is where it shows. Every app here passed the same checks, and its scores are public, so careful work is easy for a buyer to see.

What each marketplace checks before a sale
- BizAppsMarket
- We run the app as a customer would, score it on eight checks, publish the scores, a person signs it off, and listed apps are re-tested.
- Gumroad, your own link
- Sales from your own link are not reviewed or listed by Gumroad. Source
- Gumroad Discover
- Lists a product after the seller has $100 in genuine sales, passes an account risk review and the product has one sale, a category and ratings on; its rules do not describe testing the product. Source
- Envato Market
- A quality team reviews each code or template item before sale (presentation, technical and legal requirements, including major security issues) and approves or rejects it; no score is published. Source
From each marketplace’s own help pages, checked September 26, 2026.
